Jeda Donias
Jeda Donias was carrying box after box of materials and other items for the bizarre. It was October the 31st, and they were all very busy getting ready for the Halloween Bizarre. They even had teams to do everything in. Tobie and Coban were putting up fliers and advertisements on light poles, shop doors (if they got permission to) and other places. Jack and Thomas had a temporary truce as they were working together to build the structure for the stalls and such. Finally, Nick and Jeda were moving items out to Jack and Thomas. The items were mostly wood, cardboard, nails, paint tins, paint brushes, a foot stool and many other things that were needed for building. It was funny to watch Jack, who was clumsily climbing around through and in the infrastructure he had already helped build. Thomas was quite happy to weave in and out of the wooden structures, going to another place to build more.
"So, how are you guys doing? Good?" Jeda asked and Jack nodded in response and Thomas grinned happily at her.
"We're doing great, thanks for letting me help out. It lets me do something useful. Could you pass me up that plank of wood, Jed?" Thomas said, pleased that he wasn't being told to sod off for once.
"Yeah, sure. Here it comes!" Jeda said as she lifted up the plank and passed it up to Thomas, who nodded in thanks and set the 4.5 ft plank onto the large pillar structure that he was standing on/in. The pillar was rectangular and was about 6 feet tall and was 3 feet all around the base.
"You wanna go get the materials to go over this skeleton?" Jack asked in a teasing voice and the girls nodded, disappearing for a few moments to collect the wide wood panels. The panels were pretty much the right sizes to be nailed to the structure without problems.
But first, the girls had to paint the panels. They took out and stirred a tin of white and set to work as Tobie and Coban arrived back.
"How'd it go?" Jeda asked absentmindedly as she painted one panel with a paint brush.
"It went okay, you guys need any help?" Coban replied and Nick tossed a paint brush to Coban and another brush to Tobie.
"Well, time to start painting! A couple of white base coats and then we let Jeda and Coban work their magic." Nick stated and they all got to work again...
(Soz...TIME SKIP to about 7:00 pm that night.)
Jeda's stall was like that of an Egyptian fabric seller: exotic smells, exotic looking fabrics. Jeda had made sure that if it started to rain, the stalls were all similar to looking like shacks, so they had roofs. Nick was selling items carved out of wood, Coban was selling metal worked items and Tobie was selling/making food. Jack was made a bouncer, as was Thomas. But Thomas was the bouncer/security guard that you didn't see unless you were being escorted out. Thomas was on better terms with Coban, Tobie and everyone else now. He'd officially given up on Jeda, he'd told them...but not dog-boy and his friends. He wanted to see Sawyer squirm a little before he told Sawyer that he'd given up.
The police had made road blocks all around that block of apartments. They were also creating extra security and such, the police were also taking their own children to the Halloween Bizarre. This created a pretty good ambiance, almost half of Pakerwil's young population was here. It was a fun place to be too, as the girls had asked and encouraged shops (ones with games and/or lollies) to make stalls too.
The only thing that was off limits, was 'The Game'. The Game opened three hours before the strike of midnight. The entrance was shrouded in an enormous black drape.
