Power- Olivia has the power to manipulate, melt and create metals. She is very skilled at it and loved to make little knick knacks for Jeda and herself.

Description-
Benson has medium brown hair streaked naturally blonde, the hair length is down to her shoulders. She has deep brown eyes. She is tall for a woman at 189 cm. She is around 40 kg in weight, which is perfet or her stature. She wears normal clothing for a woman her age. She wears black, grey, brown, red, blue, purple and white.

Personality- Benson is kind to others, especially Jed. She is a mother figure to Jeda and respects the teenager greatly. She is a good teacher, smart, understanding and nonjudgemental unless there is a need for her to be. She was exceptionally good at her job as a detective and she always got to the bottom of anything. She trusts Jeda with her life, as Jeda trusted Benson with her life and secrets. She never asks anything more from someone who has tried their best at something and failed or succeded. Her patience and control over her temper and powers is incredible. You can't say anything to hurt her much...just don't tell her that you feel sympathetic for children of rape. She finds it very hard to dissagree with someone, but if she does...it's usually for an exceptionally good reason or judgement she has been forced to make or see.

History-
Her first 5 years
Olivia Benson was born in New York and lived at the police station...literally. Benson's mother had been a rape victim, and Olivia was the result of it. her mother had been a police officer until she had retired when Olivia was 20 years old. Olivia had learned that she had a talent with metal when she had closed her eyes on her 5th birthday and wished for a silver locket. A sound similar to running water filled her ears and she saw the locket she had wished for, being created out of thin air. She had kept the secret close to her. Her mother never knew until her 21st birthday.

From 5 to 16
She was always a good girl. She came home on time...so why did her grandmother get murdered?! Because daddy didn't want the sweeter than sugar lady around any more. Her grandmother was shot in the head on Olivia's 16 birthday. Olivia and her mother were put in the police HQ for protection, though Olivia's mother still worked. They soon pulled some strings and Olivia was in the police work force.

18 onwards
Olivia encountered Diana Jeda Donias when the little girl strode in and demanded that the police investigate her house. Detective Benson was assigned the job, there were untold horrors in that house. The parents were tortured, beaten, shot and their throats cut. They were taken away in body bags and Olivia kept in contact with Jeda. A few years later Jeda was living with Benson when Jeda discovered her powers. Olivia was happy, their companionship grew. They loved each other like mother and daughter. Olivia's mother died when the two friends were being relocated because of a cooking fire accident. Benson's mother had died in hospital. Jed and Olivia now live in this town and are very happy. Jed is starting school and Olivia is starting work as a police officer soon.

RP Sample-
Olivia stood stiring the white pasta sauce as Jed cooked the raviolli. They grinned at each other and Olivia turned on the radio. They heard a funny song and laughed about it as they ate their dinner. She tossed her head and turned off the radio. "Geez Louise! this town has nothing to do except go to movies, listen to the radio, watch TV and going to work...um, or in your case school. Hey Jed? Want to watch TV...again?" Benson laughed and folded her long legs after sitting down as Jeda put the dishes in the sink. Jed grined and laughed as well. "Yeah, there's nothing to watch except for news reports and stupid kids jumping off the school roof." The 14 year old curled up next to Benson and soon fell asleep curled up, hugging a pillow and holding the remote. Olivia smiled and spread a blanket over the sleeping teenager. She locked the doors and windows before issing Jed on the forehead and going into her room and getting ready for bed. Benson slipped beneath the covers and almost imediately fell asleep. This town was peaceful (for the most part) and reasonably good for education.
